You don’t have to stay in lavish hotels or casinos in Goa. You can opt for hotels/OYO/ Shack that will cost you less. When you visit Goa, it is more about outing rather than staying indoors. You can carry extra clothes to minimize the laundry cost.

Plan your budget for the food as it is the basic necessity. I prefer thalis in Goa as it costs you Rs 100 – 150 in North Goa. If you wish to have some seafood, you can order fish thali that will cost you nearly about Rs 250. Carry ready to eat and cook food like Maggie, Chips, snacks, etc. It would be best if you tried some Goan plates of seafood in North Goa.

Well, considering you will be in Goa, booze is available relatively cheap. It’d be better if you buy your drink from a wine shop instead of ordering at a shack. A beer bottle will cost you 35-40 rupees while purchasing from sheds and restaurants can cost you Rs 80. So be cautious while ordering something as this can increase your budget for goa trip.

Party at Goa

Goa nightlife is all about party scenes. You can visit the top clubs and hubs in your budget. Avoid weekend watersports activities and clubbing as the prices are at the hike. Best Place to Visit in Malaysia

Best Place to Visit in Malaysia

Are you planning to travel to Malaysia and want to know about the place? In this blog, you will get to know the details of the place, such as the best time to visit there, the best place to visit in Malaysia, currency, language, and travel costs.

Malaysia, the best country one can travel to in Southeast Asia. The country has a unique culture, staggering natural diversity, and famous food. But there are few things you should probably know before you travel to the place as you can enjoy your time there.

As Malaysia is a diverse country, from culture to geography, one needs to research in advance, especially if you are traveling independently.

Malaysia

How can you get there?

Most tourists arrive in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. To get between destinations within Malaysia, you can also use domestic flights. Suppose you are looking to get the best flight prices for Malaysia. In that case, I always recommend checking out Skyscanner who advertises deals for international and domestic flights, including those operated by low-cost carriers.

Best time to visit and for how long?

November to February is the best time to visit the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia when it is less hot and humid. June and July are the best months for visiting the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. From October to March, you can visit Malaysian Borneo and see Orangutans.

As there are many things to do in the country, you can easily spend 2-3 weeks, and still not see everything. I would advise you to stay for 3-4 weeks if you want to enjoy jungle trekking, volcano climbing, and multiple island hopping.

Visa

Many travelers traveling from New Zealand, Australia, UK, and North America do not require visas whether they travel via air or land.
Many Southeast Asian passport holders also do not require a visa.
I received a 90-day free stamp on entry to Malaysia as a British passport holder.

Best place to visit in Malaysia

The places to go in Malaysia depend on how long you stay there. If you are traveling for a short period, you can stick to Peninsular Malaysia. Here are some places you shouldn’t miss out on:

  • Kuala Lumpur – The country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur is a great place which one shouldn’t miss. I recommend you to stay there for at least two days. Follow this link to know the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur
  • Malacca – Malacca is a lovely colonial port full of historical attractions, and you can easily chill here if you stay for 1-2 days. Things you can plan in Malacca

Currency, Culture, and Language of Malaysia

Malaysian Ringgit (RM) is the currency of Malaysia. It is divided into 100 Sen.

$1USD = 4-5 RM.

It is fascinating to see and experience the diverse culture the country holds. The culture of Malaysia makes an amazing destination for travelers as there are many religious ceremonies and cultural festivals held every year.

Many different languages can be heard on the streets of Malaysia. Malay is the official language of the country. Other languages such as Punjabi, Tamil, Mandarin, and Hokkien are also widely spoken. English is also the popular language that is spoken in the country.

Cost of traveling

Malaysia is a fairly developed country, and many cities are clean and efficient. The country is reasonable to travel to, and one can easily enjoy it there. I spent $50 per day, which included a stay at a personal room in a hostel and two times a day eating outside. There is no need to spend money on a tour guide as you can easily explore the country. All I can say is that Malaysia is an easily affordable country to visit. Malaysia offers a lot for the hardcore excursionists as there are a lot of best places to visit in Malaysia.
